A Swiss startup called Unique has secured further investments in the millions for its AI platform. Notable Swiss financial institutions are already among its clients.

In a recent funding round, Unique received 5.6 million Swiss francs, bringing its total investment capital to 21 million Swiss francs. The company, founded in Zurich in 2021, operates the B2B SaaS platform Unique FinanceGPT. According to the company, this platform uses artificial intelligence (AI) and ChatGPT solutions to reduce administrative tasks in businesses.

The founders, Manuel Grenacher and Andreas Hauri, previously launched two other companies that were sold to Swisscom and SAP, respectively.

Notable clients of Unique’s platform include LGT Private Banking, Pictet, and Partners Group, among others. For example, Swiss private bank Pictet introduced an AI solution last October, as revealed by Steve Blanchet, Head of Technology Strategy and Innovation at Pictet.

The Unique platform is built on Microsoft Azure OpenAI Services and can generate customer offers, process information and emails, record meetings, and create corresponding meeting notes.

These services aim to provide employees with more time to focus on their customers, according to Unique’s press release.
