Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB) has introduced new cryptocurrency trading and custody services. This allows customers to trade and securely store Bitcoin and Ethereum directly through their existing custody accounts.

These services are seamlessly integrated into ZKB’s e-banking and mobile banking platforms, providing customers with the convenience of 24/7 trading. This feature is available not only for individual customers but also for third-party banks.

Thurgauer Kantonalbank (TKB) is the first partner bank to utilize this offering. Orders are executed through Crypto Finance, a subsidiary of Deutsche Börse Group. ZKB emphasizes the high level of security provided, as it manages the secure storage of private keys, eliminating the need for customers and partner banks to handle their own wallets.
