IOTA, a Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), has made a significant impact in the project ALFRIED, which focuses on the future of smart mobility. The project aims to revolutionize inner-city transportation through Automated and Connected Driving (AVF) and Intelligent Transport Systems (IVS). At the recent ALFRIED event, partners showcased how they are integrating IOTA into their inventions related to autonomous vehicles. Filancore GmBH, an attendee at the event, highlighted the importance of technology in addressing challenges such as traffic congestion and emissions allowances. As an IOTA-based protocol, Filancore plays a crucial role in supporting Eto Gruppe, a core partner of ALFRIED, by providing a cutting-edge SSI Management system to combat counterfeiting in car parts. IOTA has been continuously upgrading its capabilities to revolutionize digital autonomy and enhance privacy. The recent launch of IOTA Identity 1.0, a Decentralized Identity (DID) tool, demonstrates its commitment to privacy.
