WazirX Hack Victims Plan Class Action Lawsuit for Lost Crypto Assets

Victims of the July 2024 WazirX hack, which resulted in over $230 million in stolen cryptocurrencies, are organizing a class-action lawsuit to recover more than $600,000 in assets. Approximately 30 individuals have engaged lawyer Aman Reehan Khan to represent them, aiming to file with the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission by November, despite WazirX’s ongoing moratorium in Singapore. The lawsuit seeks to restore full crypto balances, challenging the exchange’s restructuring efforts and its handling of user agreements.
