A sequel to the action-adventure game The Order: 1886 was proposed to Sony, but it was ultimately turned down. The co-founder of Ready At Dawn expressed that while the sequel had the potential to be exceptional, the studio faced challenges due to budget constraints and oversight from higher management.

The original game, which launched in February 2015 for PlayStation 4, received mixed reviews, achieving a Metacritic score of 63/100. It was suggested that if the game had scored in the 70s, it might have received approval for a sequel. Additionally, it was indicated that the sequel would not take place in 1986, hinting at a more intriguing narrative direction.

Since the studio does not own the rights to the game, further details about the proposed sequel were not disclosed. Ready At Dawn is also recognized for developing titles such as:

  • God of War: Chains of Olympus
  • Ghost of Sparta
