Lesa Heebner has been elected as the new chair of the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) for a two-year term. This decision was made following a board vote on January 10, marking a significant moment in her long-standing involvement with the organization.
Heebner, who has served as a primary board member for 14 years and previously held the position of second vice chair, takes over from Nora Vargas. In her new role, she is committed to:
