Epic Games has initiated legal proceedings against competitive Fortnite player Morgan ‘RepulseGod’ Bamford due to account sharing. This violation of company rules allowed him to qualify for the 2023 Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS), leading to significant consequences.

After admitting to his actions, RepulseGod has faced a ban from all competitive Fortnite events. He is also required to create an apology video that consists solely of text acknowledging his misconduct. In this video, he confesses to sharing his Epic Games account with a former competitive player, Forbes, who is also banned.

As a result of this partnership, RepulseGod was disqualified from the FNCS, which featured a prize pool of $4 million. Furthermore, he is obligated to return the prize money he earned under false pretenses, with the total amount being donated to charity. The financial settlement is estimated to be several thousand USD.
